GrapeVyne Community Guidelines

Welcome to GrapeVyne — a Black American–owned social platform built on the Bluesky AT Protocol. This space is designed for authentic self-expression, creative freedom, and cultural connection, grounded in values of safety, respect, and digital autonomy.

By using GrapeVyne, you agree to follow these guidelines to help keep our platform safe, supportive, and empowering for all users in our community and across the decentralized web.

1. Respect the Culture & the Community

GrapeVyne centers Black American voices and lived experiences. All users are welcome, but disrespect toward the culture or the people won’t be tolerated.

• No anti-Black racism, hate speech, or bigotry of any kind.
• No cultural appropriation or exploitation of the culture.
• Respect all intersections of race, gender, sexuality, class, and ability.

2. Be Real, Not Harmful

We push truth, creativity, and real conversations—just don’t cross the line.

• No harassment, bullying, or targeted abuse.
• Keep it respectful—even when you disagree.
• No doxxing or leaking private info.

3. Keep It Legal & Legit

Expression is encouraged. Illegal or harmful content is not.

• No child exploitation or non-consensual images.
• No promotion or selling of illegal items or services.
• No spam, scams, or bot networks.

4. Community Accountability

Even in a decentralized space, we all got a role to play. Moderation starts with us.

• Report abuse using the in-app tools.
• Different servers may have different policies—our node follows our values.
• Violations may lead to content removal or suspension.

5. Build With Purpose

Use GrapeVyne to create, collaborate, learn, and level up the culture.

• Credit Black creators and respect intellectual property.
• Use your platform to uplift real voices, not push disinformation.
• Support innovation, not exploitation.

6. A Decentralized Space With Shared Values

The AT Protocol means your identity can go where you like—but GrapeVyne still protects our community.

• Freedom of movement ≠ freedom from consequences.
• We hold space for truth, not harm.
• Respect our rules if you in our house.

Enforcement

Violations of these guidelines may result in:

• Content warnings or removals
• Temporary restrictions or permanent suspension
• Referral to moderation services across ATPROTO ecosystems
